As an inaugural act as the Official Patron of The PGA of America, Mercedes-Benz introduced a high-tech and history-themed respite for the tournament visitors: The PGA Performance Center. Centuries of the evolution of golf and nine generations of Mercedes E-Class were paired to make a perfect promotional drive. The white-on-white-on-silver temple of style and technology created a wonderful contrast for the surrounding greens.
In addition to the automobiles and artifacts, the pulse, the color and the contents of the marketing message were channeled into this immersion space by multi-faceted, masterfully produced embrace of Multimedia: Multiple LCD monitors, a wall-mounted 10'x5' interactive multi-touch screen and two 5'x4' multi-touch surface computing tables interacted with the on-going presentations about the PGA and Mercedes-Benz. All this was backed by a super-wide heroic-size (60'x10') LED video wall. A putting green provided a place for visitors to try out the newest clubs. Portfolio: Previous | Next
