A partnership between Starbucks, Smart Design, Hewlett Packard and Dimensional Communications was formed to create a music download station for the famed coffee house chain.
As the display and multimedia specialist, Dimensional was responsible for engineering, fabrication and roll-out of the self-service multimedia kiosk program to fifty flagship locations in two test markets. While enjoying their delicious brew the kiosks allowed patrons to access a music library and create custom CD's to their liking. While the CD was being made it was an opportunity for another Latte to keep the baristas busy.
